Not really. There are ways to extract data from projects and convert it to XML, as pioneered by some of the Scratchers in Advanced Topics, but there's no way to put them back as a whole without re-writing them.
But I could extract the art?

When scratch 2.0 comes out I hope they fix this error! I've been working on tap the frog; my first ever GOOD project for over 3 weeks now! waaaaaaa waaaaaaa!!!!!

I have been working on a project for about a week, and it was going to be a very major project; one of my best. I got this error too. I'll try re-downloading Scratch...

I started on a science project a few weeks ago. I forgot to save today then my computer crashed. Now my parents think I didn't do anything all day. Then I tried to restart my work on the previous version but now it has this problem. Can't wait till my parents find out. -_-

Please could you upload the damaged file to somewhere like dropbox. This will allow us to try and inspect the file and (hopefully) fix it.
