Yeah, the first one got closed by a rap music discussion and the other one by COD.

The rap thing I didn't get, I don't know what people's problem is. Too offended by the cusses? Don't listen to it then! Ugh people are sometimes too immature on here.

The COD thing I also didn't get, "eeek blood and killing and violence bleeehhhh", dude then why should you have to care?

Okay but enough of thattttt...

Let's get to the underratedness.

Like I said in the previous two threads, HOME MOVIES.
Most underrated cartoon ever, but be aware, it's not meant for kids.
It's not as raunchy as things like Family Guy but still I'd recommend it for 13 and up, the later seasons have some pretty risque humor.
It's awesome though, the entire series is on Netflix, go watch it if you're 13 or up, or if you just can handle it maturely.

The main one I have is built into my stereo, which has two—except one is dead and the other is nearly so. Luckily, I also have one in a boombox plus I have my shoebox cassette recorder and a Walkman clone which I can aux in.

Re: The Underrated Topic

Don't cassette tapes break all the time though
and you can't fast forward through tracks
and the tape gets tangled up all the time
and the sound quality isn't as good as a record or at least a cd as well as being unwieldy
and they cost more
and take up space
and they're utterly destroyed by freaking magnets so really a small child and a refrigerator decoration is all you need to destroy a huge collection of music

My point is that some things aren't underrated, they're just not that good anyway  neutral

Everything that was passed up or around for a brief period of time is underrated to the hipster, which we see here in its native habitat

I have so many cassette players in my house it's not even funny:

1 stereo
2 boom boxes with CD and tape
2 shoebox recorders (one doesn't work anymore)
2 Walkman clones
1 real Walkman

Yeah.

also I forgot to mention that because of the way they're made the quality degrades really quickly so even if it wasn't bad to start with, it will be

the charm being that they're objectively terrible, i see your point

Anyway, Mighty B! was a really good cartoon  sad  I hope it's not officially over, I stopped getting Cartoon Network before it officially ended, so I don't really know.

It's a Nick show anyway.
But it ended in 2011 according to Wikipedia.

Re: The Underrated Topic

Cassette tapes were cheap to make, but those were their only benefits over CDs

For music: Crush 40, they produce music for Sonic games, but they're so good, but for that reason they'll never come close to mainstream  sad

Video games: BlazBlue and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom

Re: The Underrated Topic

To all the people with complaints about cassette tapes: yes, they are awful.

However, they provide a unique musical experience in my opinion. When listening to some albums for the first time without any sort of tracklist, e.g. albums like The Cure's Pornography, Depeche Mode's Some Great Reward, and The Jesus and Mary Chain's Darklands, there's an odd experience of a sort of musical painting creating a world of music and you really don't know what will be next. Tapes (cassettes or otherwise) are really the only format that provides the opportunity of not knowing tracks and not being easily able to skip to them; even on vinyl, you can see the breaks in the grooves.

Also, the degradation of the sound on the cassette just adds to the flavour. Sometimes, the unexpected produces more interesting sounds than the definite playback of a CD or digital file.

I just like listening to certain things on certain formats; various '80s bands (like the ones listed above), as well as this one Ben Folds Five promo I have, just feel and sound better to me on cassette than anything else.

(Plus, of course, they have an interesting art format especially when done well)

Oh jeez I remember that show.

There was this one episode I remember about zucchini and another where they're camping in the woods and one of them tells a scary story about a witch that freaks everyone out.

Oh do you guys remember a cartoon called "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers"?
