Squidward in clarinetland was okay, i thought it was just boring....

My favorites are Krusty towers, Have you seen this snail?, and Krabs a la Mode.

The "Chum Is Fum!" mocking sloganeering
Sentimental Sponge is a parody of hoarding
Is Spongebob getting topical?

It's true that the newer episodes are more satire, but they don't pull it off very effectively or creatively, the way I see it.

The episode "Hooky" is a great example of a satire, they're pointing to the term "playing hooky" and making fun of it by Sponge and Pat literally playing hooky.

Yup, like with Season 8, this is one of the 2 season 4 episodes i can't stand. It was just.... stupid! I can't say much more. And the ending--- Let's just say it's one of the WORST endings in Spongebob history.
