Nope, we're just trying to silently remove them and hope you guys don't notice in the upcoming transition. You caught us. 
Okay, on a serious note, they're just not there because there's not much purpose for them in the beta forums. You'll notice that there are several other forums not present as well. Don't worry about your favorite section disappearing.
