So I've changed my password that I had forgotten in order to login and try 2.0 Beta as we're currently using Scratch in my school to teach programming, and now I can't. Boo.
Some kinda database sync issue?
They copied the database on January 26, so any changes to account setting and stuff made after that date were not transferred.

The new Scratch doesn't allow me to log in. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I reset my password?
If you've reset it since sometime on the 25th, it will be using your old password.

Something is very wrong with 2.0 beta on Internet Explorer. Random words are hyperlinked that aren't in Safari, and the 2.0 forums don't work on Internet Explorer, which is why I'm posting here.
Anyway, the links are ADVERTIZEMENTS. I suspect hacking, but it looks like it's supposed to be there. And I thought money was entirely out of the equation with Scratch.
(edit) Actually, it only occured on a specific computer. A different computer(same type) didn't do this on Internet Explorer.

You probably have some sort of virus or adware on your computer.

Will this website still be up so we can access old projects and post new ones, even when 2.0 is out?

The old projects will all be transferred to 2.0

This website will become the 2.0 site. But don't worry, your old project will stay.

The new website and Scratch 2.0 is really cool! But I'm kinda down by the new paint editor, I can't fill in as easily. Also, I'm just wondering but, why are the When flag clicked or When I receive blocks in a different category than Control and in a new one called Events?

Prob:
I could be very naieve, but my iBook G4 OS-X 10.4.11 Macintosh with Firefox 3.6.24 has reached an impasse with Scratch 2.0b.
Symptoms:
Any "Get Started" things leave a blank screen in the browser, and I can't find where to download 2.0b. Could this new Scratch 2.0b requires a newer Flash program?
Question:
Does Scratch 2, require the latest Flash addon?
My computer cannot be updated to a newer Flash, not anymore.
Thank you very much!

Is it normal that I cannot login with my Scratch 1.4 username and login? If I have to make a new acount, where do I sign up?
You created your account too late, sorry. You'll have to wait until the full release, or at least until the Scratch Team updates the database.

So that the "More Blocks" BYOB section didn't make the number of tabs uneven.

Virus, I got it once. You should be able to disable it in a browser add-on.

The real question is why you would use Internet Explorer.
