scratch platform
Hi, just saw the excellent talk on TED and came to the site to download scratch... its not available on android or any mobile platform!? That seems crazy as I was hoping to show a friend who's son is 7 years and would love this, except that they only use tablets and smartphones. Its interesting that possibly the biggest platform market is overlooked? I can understand if this is a flash program, but it would be lovely to see this ported, I hardly need to switch my laptop on as I'm able to complete 90% of routine tasks on my phone - including 'wasting' time playing angry birds while waiting for a bus 
time better 'wasted' on your program learning

It's been suggested many times, but it is unfortunately impossible. It somehow violates the App store's policies, and is Flash anyway. Several interested scratchers have tried, and it may one day be an app on android, maybe. You can always go to the Scratch website from android though.
