I just spent an hour tidying up my desktop.

I'm about to embark on a PC Reconstruction journey. Will come back with pics of my future Win8 Setup.    (I got it for 15 bucks, don't hate.    )

That's really good! Best Ubuntu desktop I've seen so far. The default sidebar is ugly

I am using my android more than the computer so it's only appropriate.

System: Toshiba Thrive 10.1in running Android 4.0.4 unrooted
Launcher: ADW.launcher
Icons: MetroStation
Wallpaper: "Phase Beam" live wallpaper (came with the 4.0.4 update)
Features: Swipe down to Gesture Search stuff and up to open app drawer. The darker icons in the middle are folders.
Epicness Level: 9001/10

Thanks. I like to keep it simple; that's why I generally have all my icons hidden. And yes, I do very like the Solitaires.

Yours is really nice! I can't tell what OS that is... Windows?

Do you have any recommendations? I'm well aware of the room for improvement.

Stock Ubuntu Studio install. Default background, desktop manager and no icons of my own c: (why am I even using a "studio" distro?)

Which icon set do you mean? The ones in the bottom left or all of them?

Let's see, here are all the skins I used:
1. Circle Taskbar with a few icons altered for alternate shortcuts
2. An edited version of Recycle Bin v2
3. Muziko (HIGHLY recommended if you have a rainmeter desktop)
4. Simple Media 1.1 for the date and time (Again, heavily edited)

So yeah, not really an icon set, I use Rainmeter and those are the skins I used


I shall post my phone home/lock screen soon as well since that seems to fit this topic of desktop customization.
