I've been in the fishkeeping hobby since '06.
I currently have three fishtanks set up.
Does anyone here keep fish as pets?

Unless you really like fish for some reason and are willing to devote a lot of time and money to them, fish aren't that interesting.

Im glad you find fish interesting and love to keep them as pets, but I always felt they never seemed to do anything. They just ate. Then swam around. And existed. I already have enough pets that don't do anything. My parakeets should have warmed up to us by now, (2years) but they won't let us anywhere near them. They just start to chirp and get excited whenever I turn on the xbox, so in order to keep thm happy, I play videogames. True Story.

I had a beta fish, named Bubbles, but he went belly-up

His name was Fishy. (Very creative name, I know. I was like eight.)
I had another fish.
His name was Weirdo.
Weirdo died the first day I got him.
