I know there are some normal people there. But these people are common and are the reason why DA is mocked on other websites.

My friends and I were on deviantArt in our free time during computer class, mostly looking up nerdy stuff like Portal and Homestuck. I'm actually surprised my school doesn't block dA.

Well not necessarily. There are some exceptions based on the country of origin. In this case, the Fair Use Clause under the U.S. copyright law usually covers certain cases, such as for education use (which Scratch falls under since it's non-profit and used as an EDU tool around the world by many schools). It's ultimately up to the owner to contact the Scratch Team about the situation (see here).

It's a tricky situation, particularly when an artists posts his/her image to both dA and Scratch, and since the art is covered under both licenses, it makes it tricky to tell which one holds more precedent (the copyright info found on dA vs. the CC license found on Scratch).

Off-topic, I know, but I just thought I'd throw it out there, since you did mention it and it is a dA issue that comes up every once in a while, might be useful to those who are on dA already.

No I look nothing like my username might suggest.

I made it when I was 9, okay! D: I had nothing else in my head, I just happened to be eating a banana at the very moment I was signing up.

Basically the main thing that defines me as "cute" are apparently my eyes, they're pale green, which is awesome, and my hair is as black as can be and sort of goes over my forehead in long strands.

But I don't look like a banana. I seriously have no recollection of where that name comes from.
