how do i make it so waves of enemies spawn randomly from the side.

so im creating a game where a dragon is defending his cave (player) and i want it so knights and witches come from the east and attack. but i can't find out anywhere on how to make it so they spawn randomly or in waves with different amount of enemies each time. HELP!!!

use cloning to generate your enemies...There is a good breakout example for cloning bricks....

You can also use cloning for your shots if you want to have more than one shot sprite on the screen at a time....
