LEGEND OF ZELDA; SHADOW OF DOOM COLLABORATION
Hi there! I'm sparky2008123. You may have or may have not seen me around the site, but either way I need some help. See this idea just struck me to make a Legend of Zelda game but I'm not a very good scripter. So that's why I need the help of my fellow scratchers.
All you need to do to sign up is post your username and the job you want.
Big Zelda fans will be very helpful so if you love the games please consider joining because although I play Legend of Zelda I know very little about it.
We won't need very many sprite creators but sprite animators are a crucial part of this collab because we'll need some walking, fighting, moving motion.
I will list collab members' names below and their jobs, please do consider joining.
COLLAB RULES; NO STEALING OTHER SCRATCHERS' WORK, NO SPAMMING, NO OVER IMPATIENCE OR SUGGESTING SOMEONE TAKE THE COLLAB WITHOUT THE LEADER'S PERMISSION, AND CONSIDERATION FOR ALL OTHER COLLAB MEMBER. REMEMBER, WE'RE A TEAM HERE, WE AREN'T IN HERE TO ARGUE EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE DIFFERENT IDEAS. ANY MEMBER IS FREE TO GO IF THEY FEEL THAT OTHERS DO NOT APPRECIATE THEIR WORK. IF THE RULES ARE VIOLATED YOU MAY BE KICKED OUT OF THE COLLABORATION. THANK YOU

Cool, I could be a Zelda genius, I love the Legend of Zelda series and have played nearly all of the games! I guess I'm ready to take orders commander!
I will be active and check this topic about twice a day.
I could be a designer if you want examples, look at my animation series, The legend of Bod (although the drawings kinda suck...)
The legend of Bod part 1
The legend of Bod part 2

Can I be a designer and a Zelda Genius, okay, I'm not exactly a Zelda genius, but I can find thing out and I do know a thing or two about zelda games.
Ok, do you want any other job? Designer, scripter, or sprite animator? cause the Zelda Geniuses have jobs but have genius status

Here's how you show your offline/online status: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=69113
I think to make progress you tell people what to do...

Well if he/she is inactive maybe you should ask if you can take charge seeing as you're more active...

Yikes, we really need some more scripters and a few sprite animators, I'll post the sprites we're using for Link soon, though it'd be cool if you played as dark link....

Yeah maybe you could have two sides to link like in twilight princess where he can turn into a wolf. It would be cool if he could turn into dark link!

Great idea! But it'll have to use a certain key that no one would think of using, like X, them once they get somewhere hard to reach, like a castle, they're told how to change. Only we need to find out how to make it only work AFTER they reach there and not before...

Should I make a map of the land you have to travel around in?
Sure, go ahead and upload it in a project, I'll make a gallery for our projects!

They're really cool I prefer the right side. Are you going to do his sword and shield? We also need an enemy right?
Another thing I wanted to add, in all Zelda games there is a musical instrument, are we going to have one of them?
Last thing, are we going to make this in scratch 2.0 beta or in scratch 1.4? Scratch 2.0 is out: http://beta.scratch.mit.edu/

This is really cool! We can adjust it and stuff but I just want to ask, are we having a field where Link can run around on a horse or something?

I think a 2D game is really all we can do on scratch, and that was never in the older games. I think the best style to do is in is A Link To The Past (16 Bit SNES), becuase it looks nice and is possible on scratch.

I've created a gallery for the collab people! http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/190393
Is this ok?
