I can't wait to see what everyone makes in Scratch 2.0!
Just wondering, will the 2.0 offline editor still have the style of the 1.x editors?
I doubt it. Having two different graphic sets would be a bit inconvenient

Anyone know exactly when it's coming out? Is it coming out right at midnight, or sometime in the early or late morning? Afternoon maybe? Lastly, I'm assuming it'll just be on beta.scratch.mit.edu?

Work on your book report over the weekend so you will have all of Monday night for Scratch!

Yeah, don't let Scratch Interfere with Schoolwork. That is not a good way to go

I think that this music is appropriate. Especially the finale.
It's the last movement Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony.

So you're on the east coast? MIT is in MA, so if it is releasing at 12:00, then it should be in just a couple O' hours

What do you mean get it? That's one of the features of 2.0. You don't have to get anything. It's all web based

I guess I'm kind of late asking this, since there's literally fifteen minutes left of the Alpha, but during the beta, will we be able to download anything?
Because I'm a fan of offline programming with Scratch as it's what I'm used to, and I would like to see the small ways offline 2.0 and online 2.0 differ
I thought I heard earlier that there would be both an online and offline version,

A. Welcome to the countdown, but we're not positive it's going to be out in five minutes
B. I don't think there'll be an official version, but it should probably be pretty easy to get an offline version created by scratchers. In fact, I think a few of them have already done it.
