Help me, PLEASE!

My scratch won't work!

Every time I click it on, it shows up with a black screen and a little blue window that says "Sqeak cannot locate the sources file named C:\Program files(x86)\Scratch\SqueakV2.sources. Further explanation can be found in the startup window, 'How Squeak Finds Source Code'." It won't even let me remix projects!

I've tried everything, and NOTHING works! I've even re-downloaded my scratch THREE TIMES!

Someone please send me something that will fix this! I want to look at a few platformer game scripts from projects so I can make my own.

Make sure you uninstall Scratch before you re-download.

Hi WOLFLOVER458,

Uninstalling Scratch doesn't mean that all components got removed. When you uninstall, make sure everything got wiped out. Here's a an old forum that talks about the same problem, and here's another one with a different solution.

Everything is better when you add a little cheddar, because when you have cheese your life is at ease  smile
