There should be more non-decorative uses for Lapis Lazuli. I often find myself having more Lapis than I know what to do with, and I can't just throw it away.

That's decorative, he's asking for something non-decorative.

Personally I have no idea what lapis would ever be useful for in a new recipe, but I find it so useless I just have it under beacons.

Flags would be very useful for zone-capturing, capture the flag, and pvp (white flag.)

I created a new account, and after about 90 minutes of playing, I had a nether portal, a diamond pickaxe, iron tools, enchantment table, and the inability to get back to the Overworld thanks to a stupid Ghast.

I had a ghast break the portal once. Luckily I always keep some iron with me and there was gravel near the portal.

I left some Flint and Steel in the chest back in the Overworld.    I did bring a lot of Gravel, although I have no steel on me.

quick idea, does anyone think it would be cool to use different colored wool, make a GIANT comic strip sorta thing on the ground, then enable host option so we could fly up and move sideways so you could read a comic strip in mincecraft? i am currently building it, but its not finished
