Frozen Coco's latest single, Ellipsis, was released on 25/01/2013. This is the band's tenth recording and certainly promises to be a huge success, its predecessor (Light Amidst the Fog/If We Never See the Light) amassing an impressive 700+ plays in over 70 countries.
This single release is likely to be the last, prior to the upcoming second album which has been eagerly anticipated by our fans. You can give Ellipsis and your other favourite Frozen Coco tracks a listen via the links below. Don't forget to leave a comment as well!

You guys just keep getting better and better.
My only suggestion is the same as for Light Amidst the Fog/If We Never See the Light: you really need a better mic.Your current one sounds like it's stuck under a stack of pillows.

I agree with you. This (as I've mentioned on the Frozen Coco wiki page) was recorded months earlier, before even Light Amidst the Fog/If We Never See the Light so the mic quality is indeed poor. However, I had a huge revamp of my music setup (with new guitar amps, pedals, keyboards, mics, DAWs etc.) so do expect much higher quality recordings in the future!

Can't wait to hear what you guys come out with next.

Wow, awesome single. The fact that this is a 7-minute outing shows that you guys are really eager to branch out into new ambitions, and despite its length, it never drags.
I also highly enjoy the chord progression and the distorted guitar solo that serves as the song's coda.
My only problem would be about the somewhat low-fidelity vocals, but it seems like you already got that covered.
Either way, excellent work, and a great way to greet 2013.

From what I've heard of it so far (2:30), the chord progression doesn't seem to change at all, but I definitely like it more than your last single.

Thanks (as usual) for the long comments regarding our music!
I'm glad the song doesn't serve as a drag despite its length. The album version of this song will be (not too severely) shortened with a variant of the guitar solo featured on this track. It will also have a better vocal track, since I (like I mentioned to fire219) got my music studio revamped.
I do hope it is a great way to greet 2013, as the band is now quite established (being over one-and-a-half years old)! I'm sure FC will continue to thrive and do await the second album, which is not too far away!

Yeah, you're right. Except in the outro, the chord progression never changes. Being an adventurous band, FC likes to explore and experiment with all kinds of new sounds, like fixed chord progressions.
Thanks for the praise on the single, and I'm glad you enjoyed it more than the previous single release!

Cool!
I can't get a good instrumental for my first single, so I might just like get a producer XD

I wouldn't call it adventurous. . .

Well, I said that we are an adventurous band, since we like exploring the various depths music offers (save for most of the mainstream stuff which, in my opinion, are quite unmelodious), so I never stated that this single release is "adventurous"...
It is merely the exploration of how the repetition of a particular chord progression can be liked by our listeners.
EDIT:

^ Nice use of the 'ellipsis' (pun intended)!

It's awesome! I loved the western - rock intro which seemed to fit in with the muffled and slightly distorted vocals for a all-round horror theme!

Thanks for the comment! The western-rock intro has a signature tone to it and I like it a lot too, as all three guitars (bass, rhythm & lead) play such an integral part in the overall production.
Without either of them, the song would definitely not have that "horror" theme to it, like you say. I'm glad you feel the vocals fit in well.
P.S. I didn't realise that SpicyChorizo was your SoundCloud account.

Yep, even I'm in the music production business-thing-despite-the-fact-that-my-music-is-free-and-non-profit-but-I-have-fun-making-it-anyway-so-it-doesn't-matter.
