Glad I don't live in Oregon.
I think the law might be to prevent Sunday/sundae jokes.
Lol, I guess Oregoners would learn to stuff themselves on Saturday.
Or, you know, eat other desserts on Sunday.
(btw we're called Oregonians [with the second o being oʊ, rather than ə])

Oh great, someone's getting political.
Every thread seems to turn into arguments after a page or two, what gives?

In Arizona it's illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket :3

Yes you do realize, Ponyville Slugger, that this a kind of thread isn't meant to be a joke thread, people are just turning it into one. 777w gave a real law this time.

In New Jersey, it's illegal to commit murder while wearing a bulletproof vest... Because getting caught for the secondary offense is what the killer is really worried about.
In Maryland, it is illegal to spit in the streets, but spitting on the sidewalks is acceptable.
In Utah, it's illegal for a woman to have a miscarriage.

Only an intentional miscarriage.

and just what counts as an intentional miscarriage? drinking too much? standing up too much? eating all the wrong things?
and yes i know why that law was introduced but that doesnt make it okay

All lollipops are banned in Seattle. I don't think anyone actually cares, though.
@jukyter: I thought you supported the anti-miscarriage law.

They specify what they mean if you read what the law actually says; I was paraphrasing for simple clarification when I just said "intentional."

I was just looking on a website about this topic, and one happened to catch my eye.
In Pueblo, CO, it is illegal for a dandelion to grow within the city limits.
My thought is, how are you going to stop them?

Because California is one of the few states that have made it legal for self driving cars to be on the roads.

Or perhaps because of California's long-held tradition of leaping from 61mph vehicles..
