Also, if someone wouldn't mind fixing alpha.scratch.mit.edu logging in. I cant because Its on the stupid menu bar, and the menu stays in place when you scroll. I cant log in on IE or Firefox (And I HATE Chrome!)!

Can you open Scratch 1.4 projects saved on your computer in the 2.0 online editor?
when gf clicked wait [345600] secs go to (Scratch 2.0 site URL)(345600 seconds is 4 days)

Do you guys have any idea what time on Monday it will be out? I will be teaching a class that evening (CT) and was wondering if it would be out early or later in the dday.

I think Lightnin said noontime (or maybe midnight but I think noon) EST on that day. So it should be out before evening.

HOOOOOOORRRRRAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME!!!! I KNEW IT, I JUST KNEW IT!!!!!!
I just thought it would be before Christmas. Nevertheless,
HUZZZAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! CLOUD DATA AND CLONING TIMES ARE AHEAD OF US!!!!!!!!!!
But a few questions need to be asked.
First, is Lightnin just talking about the editor itself, and not about the release of the community website? In other words, will the commenting and contributing and cloud data (YAY!!) be available on the 28th? Or will it be some half-featured editor you can't do much with?
Second, will every single project and gallery and friendship and comment thread be brought over to 2.0 immediately when the beta is through? Those 3 million projects will be a lot of non-vector images and a ton of sound and comments for the server to load in.
Last, when will we receive more details on the 2.0 forums? Will we see new 2.0 blocks incorporated into the block system? Will there be a flashier, prettier look? Or will it be exactly the same as before?
Congratulations and thanks to the Scratch Team. I knew you would finish the perfect kid-friendly programming language some day. Despite the many complaints of "how long it's been taking to finish 2.0", you've rebuilt an entire great big chunk of code into a new platform with incredible new features implemented incredibly fast. A million hats off to you folks over at MIT.
I think the 2.0 on Jan 28th will just be a beta which means they are still making it and that we are testing it.

Anyway, what will happen to Scratch on RasPi once 2.0 is properly out?
Also, it's the full thing like the alpha not just the editor.
