Why is the front page SOOO abysmal!
Look, I like that kindergarteners get to have fun on scratch and make kindergarten level projects, but why do these have to make the front page!?
I checked the front page just to see, and all but the curated section had pointless, pathetic projects. Art, animation, art, video, art, add yourself, art, art competition, art... uhhhhhhhhhhhhggggggg.
Why do these constantly dominate the front page? I could look for 10 minutes and find something much better than what's on the featured section right now and I don't work at MIT. I just don't understand! Why!
The front page is, frankly, a big joke. Why can't they show good projects, as in not art( 
)
My frustration with the front page has increased over time, I've been playing scratch for over a year now and when I first joined and looked at the front page I saw exactly what I'm seeing now, the "ART" genre. I figured this was what scratch was meant for until I figured out that you could actually make a game on scratch, and a pretty good one too.
I thought it may have just been a phase where only art stuff was being showcased... I was wrong. A year later it's the same, can anyone explain why better projects aren't dominating the front page? Thanks.

Just because you don't like the front page, doesn't mean that all others share your opinion.
This sounds more like a rant rather than an actual question. If you don't like what's on the front page, then don't view it, it's quite simple. Closing thread.
