Hi all, I am helping to run a scratch club at my school. The pupils in the club have made their own scratch accounts to upload an share any work they create. We have, however, now been asked by one parent how to delete the account created as they are not happy the username is their child's name.
I have since looked at my own user account and cannot see any option or link to delete the account or even to change username.
What do you suggest ?
Thanks in advance!

A username cannot be changed. If you need an account deleting, the account owner has to contact the scratch team using the 'Contact Us' button (you'll find that at the bottom of every page). You can then ask for your account to be deleted. I think I read on the wiki that they might ask for the email address and birthdate that was registered with.
I hope I was of assistance.

Make sure all the projects are deleted, and then there should be a link under "change email" saying "close account" or something. Click that, and it should be deleted.
Also, you cannot change a username, sadly.

Actually, the close account link only appears if you haven't uploaded any projects at all, not if you just don't have any projects at the time.
