I think scratchers, like me should given the option to choose which projects a public and which are private, that way its up to each individual user weather they wish to share whats been done and whats hasn't.

That's is perfect solution .
But a scratchwe should be given an option to choose which threads to show .
And
There should be option for Showing projects  like
In Facebook .

I think there should be an option for this  like in windows media player .

There should be a service in scratch to chat with a [ expirienced ] scratcher for enquiries or questions .

you don't need passwords. you can use the UserId block to verify who someone is.
