Thanks for the all reports, everyone! We're working on getting everything sorted out.

We've just updated the player to v212.

It's something wrong with the Flash player, it just get's white and no stop button or flag shows up..  sad

you need to wait a few seconds for them to appear, that happens on big projects

It happened on small too.

My new game, Whak-A-Mole, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Failord/3054138 , is expiriencing some problems. My browser is Safari and this glitch does not appear in Java or 1.4 offline, fullscreen or not.

The glitch is that it seems to be forgetting a script somewhere, causing the text at the end of the game to not appear. Everything else just works fine and dandy. Thanks for your help!

(One more thing, once this game matches all of the Featured criteria, I'd be very thankful if somebody would please nominate it!)

Actually, forget it. It was my programming error. Just an attempt to use less sprites.  smile

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

here

The background isn't changing. I edited it in the background editor offline and when I upload or go out of the background editor nothing changes.

Update: There's only one background and online at the beginning it says in the bottom left corner "curiouscrab AI Scratch Wiki" (it's for a wiki article), but later when it goes into another mode it switches to Happchubbybubby 2012 and there is only one script which is for the sprite and only one background that says the curiouscrab thing, so no way it could be switching to a wrong background.

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

This project is a repost
of a Parody Paradise project. It does not broadcast anything in the Flash player. They only work if you look at it in Scratch itself.

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

The obsolete, but at one time valid, abs operator (absolute value) no longer works in the Flash player.   This broke my 5 year old project “frog”  on  IE8 and Firefox 4.0 by allowing the frog to jump over any number of frogs instead of just one or two.  My older, non-working, version is here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/digimathtryit/3059522 .   I made the tiny correction and uploaded the change to my existing project location http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Digimath/27783  but it’s likely that other old projects will have the same issue.  (Thanks to SuperSamioWorld for the bug report on my project.)  Type “M” after the project loads to see a screen snapshot of the old abs operator.

I've updated my text adventure game.

Hi,
When I go onto other peoples projects on the Scratch website generally, they hardly load and the load bar stays blank. This even happened on the New to Scratch video by the Scratch Company! Please help soon,
RubyMartinsGames.

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

new bug.

it is about my slider, but the slider position isn't limited. this is my script

when gf clicked
forever
set y to (159) //Slider above and bottom border
end
this script will set slider's y position to 159 (slider above and bottom border) forever
but when i move it the slider isn't following that script , I have tested in scratch but this problem isn't happen. And some more problem!

when gf clicked
forever if <(x position) > [230]>
set x to (230) // If X position of slider reaches slider's right border this will set it to right border of slider.
end
But, when i move slider that script won't work. it let me move the slider to project's edge!!!! but when I release left click, it just go to x:230

I found this on Interned Explorer

1. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/monsoonjr99/3067380

2. Press 'space' to get through the dialog. answer 'Y' to the "Do you know how to play?" question. You lose a life the moment the game starts!  sad  This doesn't happen in Scratch 1.4 neither in the Java player.

3. Google Chrome

No, it is just a lot faster for some things and only a little faster for others. Example

Turbo mode must to be the same speed as regular now?
