How would one make a working scroll bar that allows the player to click and drag it along a single axis (simple) and move sprites to the left or right (hard).

There is a feature on scratch with lets you drag a sprite when uploaded. At the top there should be a little lock near the sprite name. Click on it to make it draggable when published

Using that would allow you to move it everywhere, as in up and down and sideways. A scroll bar doesn't move in every direction, it sticks to one axis.
