i think the wii u would make the game have the same feeling as the pc, but yes it should stay as just a pc game. the xbox version is okay.
Pocket Edition is getting pretty close to the PC version. They just added the sky, armor, and signs! Soon we'll have redstone.

How did this turn from Minecraft on the Wii U to a heated debate on abortion.
Seriously you guys need to stop making big deals out of everything.
Plus this isn't a very appropriate subject for these forums at all. There are little kiddies on here, yo. Why not discuss someplace else? Really.
But on topic, I think MC on Wii U sounds like an awesome idea. Too bad it'll never happen--Microsoft bought the rights.
For the first part: That's exactly what I said! I wasn't trying to start this...
I think that Minecraft on the Wii U would reach full potential since it has a touchscreen and regular controls instead of just controls and a TV. This would allow for breaking and placing blocks very easily since you would just need to tap, but you could also move easier than in the pocket edition, where you press on-screen buttons.

Honestly I'm more excited for the actually confirmed Minecraft for Pi.

D'aww, but I want to use my Pi to host a server...
You can't host servers with it?

Closed for cleanup.
...and we're back.
Please remember that the Scratch Forums are not the place to try and change people's opinions about political/religious issues. Besides, it's off-topic. Thanks to the people that tried to keep the posts focused on the topic.

Yes you can. Come to think of it, I could use it to run the upcoming Pocket Edition server software...
Oh, Minecraft is so big! Really, it probably will be on the U one day

No. I thought you meant it for disappointment. How do you miss outon Pi Edition if you host a server?

Using the Pi to host a server uses up almost all the memory.

not true because the pocket edition and Xbox edition are still under development and the PC edition it the main thing had been out since minecraft existed. Though I agree how pocket edition isn't really good.

I don't get why they call the ipad "pocket edition". XD

A game like Minecraft just can't work on consoles. The mouse is essential to it.
This is what used to be thought about first person shooters. You can see where that went. I don't know about putting it on the Wii U, but giving it a chance on a console wasn't a bad idea.
FPSs are still better on the PC (the Wii/Nunchuck control style is better to me, but there aren't too many FPSs on Wii). It could potentially work with the touchscreen, but it would still be better with a mouse.
