Ugh!

Is it just me, or is the scratch profile picture size limit ridiculously small? I tried to upload a picture that Google+ refused to accept on the basis that it was too small, then scratch rejected it because it was too large! Is this just me?

Re: Ugh!

Scratch accepts up to 200x200px images (I think). It resizes down to 90x90px.

Re: Ugh!

You can resize it using GIMP and upload it...

Well, how big was the avatar image? There are different restrictions on avatar images, which includes both file size and dimensions.

The Scratch website accepts images 90 KB or less (which is actually fairly huge compared to what I've seen on other websites). Images are usually scaled down to 90*90 pixels, so it's important to keep that in mind if you're working with a non-square image.

you should make a new thread for unrelated questions

go to their page (http://scratch.mit.edu/users/theirusername) and click "add to friend list", near their profile picture/username/location
