Netflix!

Who here has Netflix? I do! In fact, I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist on my Wii as I type this.  big_smile

Do you have Netflix? If so, what shows/movies do you watch on it?

I don't have Netflix, I use Hulu. And Fullmetal Alchemist? I love you!

It's basically better than any similar services, but you'll probably only be using it for TV shows. It has some good classic movies like Groundhog Day, but the majority of the films are stuff like "Chop Kick Panda" and "Transmorphers".

So it's cool for Doctor Who and Futurama and most TV series, but not movies.

Don't you pay per show for that though?

$8 (or whatever Amazon's service cost I guess) a month just seems a lot cheaper than doing that, unless they've added a monthly fee to those.

Ahahaha yeah those were the days.

First video I ever rented from Netflix was The Incredibles.

Oh the memories.

And the last one I ever rented (on a DVD) was I think Inception, but I'm not sure, it was like two years ago.

Unfortunately though my dad canceled Netflix. So now I'm stuck with...sigh...Amazon Prime Instant Video.

Well, it's not that bad, actually, I can still watch Star Trek. The full Next Generation series is on there, that's the only one I watch, considering how much I hate the original series. And Doctor Who. And Spongebob. And a lot of cool movies too.

Re: Netflix!

Remember that time when stuff used to be on tv and do you'd WATCH IT, on tv, when it was on... And then occasionally if there was something on that you were going to miss you would record it, on a VCR... Now you don't even need a tv...

I have like five VCRs that all work like a charm. And I still use them.

You're lucky! I only have two VCRs and they're both broken.

I actually got two of them for free, my cousin just wanted to get rid of them. :P So they just sit in my garage. They do work, though.

One of them I've had four years before I was born (since '95).

The other was for a guest room in my house like twelve years ago.

And the last one was from this 13 inch CRT TV that had a VCR built into it that I got for 20 bucks that currently resides in my room.

I also have this really old DVD player from when they first came out. My dad said it was something like 500 dollars back then, which is insane, since I just recently got a new one for $30.
