Thanks Steve! I have two programs that are installed on my Mac that are compatible with the operating system, MacTracker and Camtasia for Mac 2.

If you want to see a screencast that I made with Camtasia, check the link here:

Awesome! I've been thinking of how excellent it would be as a webserver. Being so quiet, efficient and all  tongue

Well, if I did get a Mac Mini as a webserver, I would definitely install some sort of Linux on it.

One with just a command line'd probably be fastest.

Well, I'd have a GUI on it for setting it up and manipulating files and stuff, but when it's actually serving, it would be command line.

Yep! My Mac Mini came with Mac OS X Mountain Lion and the version that came pre-installed is 10.8.1 so I've upgraded my Mac to 10.8.2 to fix some problems. I own the Late 2012 model and it does not have a built-in optical drive so I also got a SAMSUNG external optical drive to go along with my Mac Mini. Need I say more? Mac Minis made in Mid 2011 and later do not ship with a built-in optical drive. Unless you'll find some very good external optical drives in some computer stores nowadays.

I have one of those, but I rarely use it since I got a MacBook Air.
