Price? $350 - $400

Your thoughts/predictions? Needs more Nvidia. It will be a large success. Kinect v2 will probably be launched ether at the same time or the following year.

Did you know the current Xbox runs the PowerPC? I think XBox 720 might run intel/ARM and run Windows 8/RT for 'better integration'.

I don't think it'll run W8 or RT. If it did it would have to be completely remade.

I'd like to hear about these even though I probably won't buy them.(I'm more of a one console at a time person.) They actually seem pretty cool!

If the Xbox 720 runs on Windows RT, then people messing up their Xbox from flashing their firmware will probably get an error like this.
"1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer."

Hah.
Everyone seems to be moving towards body movement as a means of control - apparently the Xbox "720" will have Kinect built-in, and Sony is patenting some funky stuff for it's stick thingy (PS Move, was it?)

I heard about that - if there is a kinect build into it, it'll be a highly upgraded version.

I want a system where I just look at where I want the character to go and she or he goes there; I don't want all the extra effort of "pressing buttons" or, God forbid, moving.

But moving my eyes is so tiring! It should be thought controlled

But I hate thinking. It should just monitor the whims of your subconscious.

Eww. But if it does that, then I'll need to have a brain! What if I want to not have a brain at all and play!?

it takes more work not to have a brain than to have one!

No, I successfully removed my brain, and It's easier.

The PS4 may not come with a DualShock, but with a PSVita-like controller with biometrics and a LCD touchscreen. Sounds like it'll be a Wii U in steroids.

So Sony has decided to copy Nintendo again. Good grief...
First the stupid Playstation Move thing that looks like something that shan't be allowed on these forums, and then "Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale"?

Someday, just someday, they will fall and Nintendo will rise again! I used to think they were okay, but after hearing this, nope.

Who needs Playstation or Xbox? Piston is where it's at.
Personally I have a very set vision in mind for the ultimate console. Relatively small (maybe slightly larger than a Mac Mini?) with Intel guts and NVIDIA graphics. Probably to keep the form factor small, it would be preferable to use mobile GPU chips like the iMac does. Hopefully looking good, as well. The OS would be a stripped down version of Windows, maybe bringing back XP 64 bit? Ideally it would be a lightweight Linux distro, but that's incompatible with most steam games. Also, emulators for most other systems. Instant win, right there.

I wish we could just go back to nintendo 64 and sega dreamcast. But maybe that's just me.
