How to convert a game to exe

I was wondering how to convert a scratch project to exe without downloading third party software from these random websites. Also, how can I then transfer the project to the disk? So what would I need to transfer with the game (like scratch.image). Lastly, after converting to exe, when the project is played, what is needed? Java?

Re: How to convert a game to exe

you can't convert to .exe at all. there might be some third party software somewhere but its not a feature of scratch.

Re: How to convert a game to exe

You could install BYOB and easily compile it to an exe. I made a screensaver this way!

Re: How to convert a game to exe

Scratch2EXE is a good site to convert projects to EXE files. It is not a virus and has been recomended by the scratch team and community moderators. Scratch has not made their own one.
