Will offline scratch 2.0 have a faster player? Or no...

So I came upon the statement that the online flash player is actually loads faster than the offline scratch 1.4 player... and I seemed to notice this, but figured the problem lied with something besides scratch, as I assumed offline has to be faster than online overall...

That's great the flash player is fast, but I can't help but wonder if the scratch player will be sped up, or if that it will be completely irrelevant if 2.0 won't even have an offline version...

2.0 will have an offline, Flash version, it'll probably be just as fast.

Cool. Thanks for the reply.

Also just noticed that whether or not you have your variables displayed impacts speed in the offline player, reason I never noticed was I figured that took zilch power/memory compared to my actual scripts, but if I have like 10+ variables displayed on screen at once it really impacts performance.
