Hey; the Most Viewed and Most Loved projects are pretty much the "people's choice" rewards to projects. You can't do anything about people's project tastes, as bad as they may be (happens a lot irl!). Simply ignore them and remember that there's still the Curated and Featured projects, for projects truly deserving front page fame.
Copied projects are a problem, but it's up to the original project creator to report any copy of their project.

Well the idea of a project being good or not really depends on the viewer. Scratchers have different perceptions of what is good and what is bad, what is fun to watch and what isn't. You can't control what other Scratcher may want to watch, remix, or give love-its to, let alone ask for change based you feel is good or bad.
As for the copy - if it was really a copy and not a remix, then you only have yourself to blame for not reporting it earlier.

People have their own view on projects. I don't think of the front page as a reward, but kind of like a quick news article about what the community is doing. The only reward you can get from the front page is getting featured or curated. The top viewed, remixed, and loved project rows are just an insight into the community's preference. It's not like you're forced to click on it or anything.

But the top remixed has hardly any variety in it. I've gotten to a point where I don't even glance at it since I know it's just gonna be "Add yourself!!", "Coloring Contest," and "Sign your name if ___!" As far as I know, this was not the intention for the row at all.

You can't really change that.
But, if you want to view projects specifically picked, you can check out either the curated or the featured projects, because those are slightly more deserving of being on the front page.

Well, the intention was mainly to encourage remixing, but the diversity issue is a community issue. And you can't control what others want to remix, so no amount of front page change is going to fix the diversity issue. That is something that community members must take upon themselves, as andresmh pointed out earlier all the way back in 2009 (three years of complaining and no action, come on guys ).

Do you think in the future there will be some sort of system to prevent complete copying? Like some system that wont let you upload a remixed project with exactly the same script, costumes and music?

Sometimes the ST talks about features to prevent copying, and we have discussed about the system you have described. How far off in the future (assuming that the feature is doable to code) is something to be determined.

Yeah , a copied project got front-paged.
Yeah, and one where someone just added one sprite (and the single sprite hid when the project started anyways) also got frontpaged.
That is the project , they only deleted something!

Well, Soniku3, The copied project may be getting more views then the original.

The thing that gets the most the most views are automaticly picked. so maybe thats why it happened
