I'm not too sure if this has been asked before.
It'd be very cool if you could get levels from getting love its, fans (something I heard would be in 2.0), and getting a project featured.
I don't think it should be from remixes or posting projects though. It'd make the site have a spam overload.

Exactly. People already worry too much about Internet fame - it would get much worse if it were to be recognized and prized by the Scratch Team.

Good point.

Although other sites have this, I don't support because:
1). This will this introduce social classes to scratch.
2). This can new scratchers feel tiny, left out, and even "inferior".
3). The most important issue is that overall, the goal of scratch is to teach people how to program, not (due to the lack of a better term) how to game. That can be done on other websites.
So because of the above, I feel like this would be detrimental to the scratch website, so I don't support.

I can't believe I even thought of that idea.
People suggest stuff so they can listen to other people's point of views and help you notice stuff that you had not thought about before. There is no reason to bring it down on yourself. Scratch on!

This is why I really like the Scratch community. Not just a site full of raging people.
