You would understand if you've read the books.
And reading is one of the requirements so you would understand this, it's extremely complicated.
And the names are like that because in Clans, when a kit is born, the mother names it like what it looks like, for example, a brown kit would be something like Mudkit or Earthkit or Brownkit. then when it becomes an apprentice, it becomes Mudpaw or Earthpaw or Brownpaw. And when it becomes a warrior, it would be like Mudcloud or Earthfang or Brownpelt. These aren't housecats, so you wouldn't name it "mr.mittens." these are wildcats who live in the forest, and hunt and fight and have to defend their territory, so please read the books or go away; I'm not trying to be mean.
