My friend has the theories that the starters are fire/psychic, grass/dark, and water/electric respectively based upon the attacks seen in the trailer. Any opinions or other thoughts type-wise?

Was it? I don't actually personally remember what moves were used, but his claim was that there was a electric sound effect. Perhaps water/fighting then. That actually makes a lot more sense, since we then have two circles going opposite ways, as we do in Sinnoh. Eg, fighting>dark>psychic>fighting and the classic fire>grass>water>fighting.

Speaking of Eevee evolution, I think one of Pokemon's recent passed tweets are hinting for new eevee evolutions. "How many possible eevee evolutions are there"?
They most likely meant types in general, not the current evolutions.

Planning on Picking up X because of how awesome Xerneas looks (It's a freaking kingdra-stag!) and using Froakie because I rarely use the water starter and I like him

Um... They don't really look anything like Ponyta or Polywhirl but Chespin (grass type) has Oshawott's face

the color scheme is like ponyta's
and poliwhirl is a big swirly monster but its evolution looks like a frog.

Gen I sucked except for a select few I hate em all.
But Necromaster is doing the same thing that tons of people did when Gen V came out. They were criticizing everything about those Pokemon. Personally I'm looking forward to these new Pokemon cause I got so used to Gen V and they got kinda boring. And Yveltal is AWESOME! He's even shaped like a Y, ah
