So I literally just finished watching all thirteen episodes of Elfen Lied. I really regret watching it, epecially watching it all in one day. Certain moments keep playing on an endless loop in my head. Same goes for moments from Air, Clannad, and Zero No Tsukaima. How do I get anime moments out of my head? I need to get on with my life!
So discuss haunting anime moments and how to get over them

I didn't ask.
I said The Muppet Song gets songs out of your head so it may get out images too.

If you have these moments glued into your brain that means you're watching too much anime.
And 13 episodes in a day? Really?
I didn't go to school today so I had sixteen hours to do something and I didn't have a "something" to do. Even after watching it I still had to come up with something to do for the next ten hours....When I do have school I usually just watch two episodes.

Find something else to cram in your head.
Maybe a song you like, a video game you like, maybe a programming language you like (Hint Hint).

All I can really say is just try to stop your mind before it starts thinking.
Or maybe stop watching that anime.

Don't think about it
After a while your brain will lose track of that memory.

i dont get easily scared by anime, but i guess you could just think of it as awhat it is: a picture.
i kinda want to see this now.
btw you should never watch saving private ryan. that stuff is way worse.

I'm never trying dark butler because of what I've heard of it. Eww... Who directs a butler to do that?

It's not that I'm scared, it's just weird. It's hard to describe. It's just disorienting. And no way in a certain place am I seeing privat ryan, that stuff is real! I'm not watching the real stuff!
P.S. Trust me, you don't want to see it. It's also rated MA so I highly don't recomend watching it. Since you've seen private ryan I guess seeing this wouldn't be the biggest deal but it's not just rated MA for violence. It has that rating because of other stuff 0.o

Stuff like this has happened before and I don't forget it unfortanetly. It's turns into more of an acceptance and a moving on sort of thing. It just takes a while to move on

That's a good idea but the "stop watching" part is incredibly hard for me because I HAVE to know what happens whether I like the story or not (yeah I'm weird like that )

How many episodes do you have left?
Maybe you could just read a summary online. That is, if you want to.

There's only one option:
Watch some comedy anime to drown out those dark thoughts!
Oh! Edo Rocket and Sgt. Frog rule!

Just don't watch anime that looks violent/scary (or don't watch anime at all, for a while at least).
