Scratch 2.0 Variable/List Changes

There is a couple of things i want to suggest for the new 2.0:

1: Make it so you can change colour of lists and also the shape so that i could be a plain black square

2: Enable BB Code on lists, i know it is possible using the flash player that 2.0 uses.

+ You will be able to make your projects more personalized as people may want a leaderboard, this would make the leaderboards look much better

+ Use of BB code allows you to change the colour or style of a certain bit of text so if you have an admin in a list, you could for example, change that piece of text to red or bold.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Variable/List Changes

The point of a list is to store data, not make output. You can make blocks to do this.

I would like to see you try to make a visual leaderboard with blocks..

it's actually easy, just grab one of those typing scripts out there and modify it a bit

That's pretty easy actually.

...And make a block to do that and select the "run without screen refresh" option when making the block, so it doesn't take ages to stamp everything... If you're going to have a leaderboard that shows every score, not just the top 10 or whatever, it would be possible to make a scroll bar. I wish Scratch could have the ability to make a frame that can contain sprites inside it with the option to have scrolling. This would make it easier to make scrolling games and scrolling pages and stuff. I don't think that will ever happen though because that would confuse new Scratchers.
