Hanukah presants!

There's been topics such as "what did you get or give for christmas?" and I thought "what about the people who celeberate haunukah? You get presants on that holiday too!"

Presants aren't really a big deal in my family so it's nothing special but I got a couple shirts and I got to go shoe shopping!

Mom: it's becoming tradition for me to make her a calender every year. My calenders come out really pretty and I find inspirational quotes that match her so I put the quote on top of the picture in the calander.  smile

Dad: he wanted a long, white, silk scarf. I'm still trying to find one. So his presant will be late.

Brother: He's twenty so all he wants is money. He would accept the money I gave him when we were younger but now he wont so I'm still trying to figure out what to get him (I know I'm like 30 days late for most of my presants, but it takes time!)

Teachers: Special pen and note books (they go nuts over that stuff) and a subway gift card to one of my other teachers  smile

So what did you get and give?!?!

Re: Hanukah presants!

I got a remote control helicopter, a couple new Mets caps, a mini Battleship keychain, a Kindle case, some gift cards, and a trip to America. My family gave Israel-themed stuff to the rest of the family, in America.

BTW, you spell presents with an e, not an a.

And you know, the tradition of Hanukkah presents is an American tradition. Guess what inspired it. It's not common among Israelis.

I know, it was a typo, thanks though  smile  and yes I know the present thing is an american thing. It's really cool that you get to come to america! So are you from israel?

That's so cool! I might take a trip to israel one day. A lot of my friends have and they told me it was awesome so I want to go too. But I have to get over my fear of planes first  tongue
