Game Achievments.
Playing games is fun.
Right?
And getting rewards for playing game is better.
Right?
Showing the rewards off is even better.
AMIRITE!
Well, how about the ability for people to program Game rewards.
It would work ALOT like the Broadcast/recieve system.
Except the reciever isn't a sprite, it's the website.
I am pretty sure you know how the Broadcast/recieve system works.
It would kind of be like this.

Except "broadcast" would be replaced with something like "Reward"
to create a reward it would be like a variable with the "new" button.
Except, the box would say "Upload Image" & "Create with editor"
The achievements would appear in your stuff.
It could also have value like scoring "Scratch Points' or something, whatever,
I'll let you decide that.

Cool! You could have a thing kinda like GamerScore, but what about people who make projects where it gives you, like 9000000000000000000 GamerScore? Some people could really cheat their way to the top.

I don't think this will be implemented... Scratch isn't a free-online-games site, is it? Awards would distract the focus from programming to trying to grab as many acheivements as possible, which also provokes competition.
But it's a nice idea, though!

They are thinking of being able to read an write data to the website... So this will be possible, otherwise, host a server type thing, learn some Python, and make a game that sends the score to the Python program which sends it to the server, and then you can have a link to the scores.

that would be an awesome idea, so on the place were it says '(scripts)(Costumes)(Sounds) they add a new one called (Awards). If you click that you make your awards but the player doesn't know it so it is a secret! when they do it, they get scratcherpoints of any you chose on the reward but there will be a maximum becuase they don't want to give them too much! Plus if you get more than 1,000,000 your projects will be on a new section called 'Projects by millionare Users...' Click here for more'

For one thing, Scratch is NOT about fame, it is about learning to program.
For another thing, please check the dates before you post. A irrelevant post on at topic older than a month or possibly a relevant post on a topic more than a year old are frowned upon.
