If you like dogs, this thread is for you. I'm fundraising for puppy mill dogs to make a centre to rehabilitate them. Woohoo! I have a poster I'm working on, and I'm going to sell cookies with my friends. Who knows, you might be helping. I need to raise 10,500 and more, but with cookies, it'll be easy. Comment if you like my idea! Also please check out my work, I have low views You can talk about dogs freely here.

I have cousins in that area, and I was there a week ago, but I can't help and this dosn't belong in the forums.

It sounds like a worthy cause! However I have some privacy concerns. You should probably see about setting up some way that people can contribute anonymously over the web so that you can get funding from all over. Kickstarter.com was suggested - but they don't really seem to be aimed at charities - they are more for creative/artistic/technological projects.
Have you discussed this with your local animal protection agency? Here in the USA it would be the ASPCA - but I'm not sure what it is in Canada. They would probably have some good ideas and might even be able to suggest funding sources.

I am a little bit concerned with your privacy in the forum topic you recently posted. http://www.safekids.com/kids-rules-for-online-safety/ states that you should not give away personal information such as your school or where you live, which you have disclosed. I suggest you remove this information from the forum topic, or there can be severe consequences.
Otherwise, this is going to a good cause and good luck with your fundraiser.

Can you delete this comment? I don't need it.

I removed the info here. Age and grade on my Wii thing was OK, right? It's not like your age and grade can get you tracked down. I'm relatively new on the forums, so please don't ban me just because I typed my last name, I can always edit it out.

Every time I hear Dog Mill/Puppy Mill I think of a windmill type thing that grinds up dogs.
Sounds like a nice idea (the cookie thing, not the grinding up of dogs).
