LOL. Ok you should be manager. You do a much better job than I would.

And I get right on those banners! Well, if I try to draw books it might be a fail. Maybe a Santa cat (since cats are one of the few things I'm good at)? He/she could be reading a book, and over the top text reads:

Ho Ho Ho! I love read! Do you love to write? Find out in Bookworm Studios' Annual Christmas-a-thon!

I'm probably going to make the cat Jayfeather because A Christmas Message from Jayfeather is really popular!

Okay, fine, manager.
Anyways, A cat sounds good. Everyone likes cats. Apart from cat haters obviously, but no one takes any notice of them.Make it obvious that it's a vote. Hopefully lots of people will be interested.

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

Well the image URL has to be less than 400 characters long, I don't think there is a specific size that the image has to be. If whatever youre using gives you a preset canvas for just a 'banner' then that should do nicely.

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

i think its 150 by something. and if you dont wnt it cut off you have to mke the right size or smaller.
Does anyone want a smaller size so they can have text and it dosent get cut off?

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

I'd quite like a smaller one because I'd like to keep my current signature as well.
Does anyone know how to put links in a signature picture? We should link the banners to the project.

Umm, I might not get them done. I have like no motivation. Maybe we should do it as a collab?

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

I haven't got an image hosting account. I could definitely do it, but it wouldn't be much use.
Whisperfur, you could change the contest topic name to something like VOTE HERE AND NOW bookworm studios christmas contest to get more people voting via the topic.

Good point, and how do you embed an image into a post without the image being online somewhere already? All the images I've ever posted, even my signature, has been embedded into my post from somewhere online.

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

Then how do you post your personal 'i made/took these myself' images without an account to have them hosted on? I agree though. We have never really collaborated for anything at all before. We should. I know the ueirogluphic alphabet if that helps, which it doesn't.

Why would you like to join Bookworm Studios?: Did this.
Which role(s) would you like to do (Write, Review, Edit)?: Write
*If you write, give an example of a good writing sentence: He watched his allies get defeated.  He didn't do a single thing.  Becuase he couldn't.
*If you edit, give me a sentence and say how to make it better:
What is your favorite book?: Hmm...The Last Olympian by Rick Riordain.
Will you contribute to this collaboration, and stay active, and are you aware that you will be kicked out if you don't?: Umm...yes...

I don't think 'get defeated' i grammaticaly correct, if you don't mind me saying.

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

I like it myself. The simplicity is very imagination provoking, and the bluntness of it shows how the character is feeling about his friends and Allies falling helplessly to his enemies feet. It has a certain desolateness ( yes I know, desolateness isn't a word) to it, because that shows how the character is feeling.
@ mint, where can you upload without an account? I've been looking for a site like that for at least a year! I really need to use a site like that!

Random story writing helper: I found that making a clay, or even plastercine model of your main characters really helps, especially if they aren't human. Sorry for being off topic, I just found out that it really helps ( by doing it).  smile
