I'm 13 and allowed to watch some R movies (I've seen The Terminator, T2, The Matrix, others) and after two years of begging my dad to let me see Akira, he finally did. It was a very violent movie but I thought it was thought-provoking, way ahead of its time, and way better than any anime I'd seen. Plus I remember that I used to read some of the manga at my local Barnes and Noble.
What's it rated R for? I've only been already to watch one rated-R movie (well, unedited; I've seen some edited R-rated movies on TV, but not many channels show anime); Sleepy Hollow, which was rated R for the gore.
Mainly for violence. It's a very sick and twisted film. There's one scene towards the end that's so horrifyingly gory and puke-inducing/awe-striking that it's just groundbreaking. It's really unbelievable how they were able to make that scene alone considering it's all hand-drawn.
It's a very great film, but I recommend the manga if you're too squeamish about the gore, but the manga is very long (over 2000 pages) and it's also pretty gory too.

You're basically suffering through what I felt after Oh! Edo Rocket was over. And the second season of Sgt. Frog, before they picked up the third season.
I haven't been forced with the ending of an anime I really like for a while though...that might change since I'm watching the last season of Baka and Test right now.

As requested by RoyalHi5... The backstory on why i love shugo chara so much.
Anyways, a small fact about myself that very few knew is that i was never in to those "boy" fads (Which can explain alot of my fandoms).
Well, we were at a used book store in August 2009. My sister (10 at the time) found the 1st volume of Shugo Chara. Anyways, i didn't read it, but she did and said it was amazing. I saw the first episode of the anime. And remember, i had the brain of a 8-year old boy. I was in to Legos and Mario, so i really didn't understand it. But that's where i also got the idea for my side series, Shugo Chara Plus, following the adventures of a boy who moved from California to Japan. I've planned out the series more in depth, and at the end of the 3rd season, he goes back to California, but there is a 4th season.
Anyways, fast forward to 2011. I'm a ten year old boy. I just got into MLP a few days ago (The exact date i got into MLP was August 15,2011) and my sister was about to go to Taekwondo. Anyways, i remembered the book and asked if i could read it. She said yes, and i read it. And then i watched the Anime, and i was obsessed with Shugo Chara. I remember on late August afternoons watching Shugo Chara, and happy because i came back from this really good healthy fast food restraunt called Evos. Anyways, in 5th grade my binders were filled with tons of Shugo Chara pictures, watched 2 episodes a day, and such.
The obsession went on until December that year or so, then i got Introduced to Minecraft, and i was obsessed with it.
But, thanks Shugo Chara for giving me all these great memories.

How do you know when you're watching too much anime?
1. Moments play over and over again.
2. Theme songs are always in your head.
3. You watch AMV's and poster video's non-stop.
4. (if you're a fangirl or a really strange fanboy) scream when you see or hear something related to a show or charactor
5. Japanese starts to sound like your native langauge and English sounds forein.
6. You start to learn Japanese just from watching it.
Those are just some of the signs of watching too much anime. If anyone has anymore to add please do

Shugo Chara spin-off idea:
Ryan April is a boy who was born in San Francisco, but soon moved to Escondido, California. When he was 8, he had to move to Japan with his parents, leaving Amy, his older sister, to stay with her grandma in San Jose. Ryan moves to where the first anime took place, and goes to the academy, and gets 2 guardian characters and gets in the guardians. But he learns something: he's extremely special and makes a relationship and learns he's a chick magnet. But when Ryan leaves at age eleven to go back to Escondido.
There's more that I'm posting later. What do you think?Gimme opinions, people!
BTW, I call it "Shugo Chara Plus"

~~~~~~~~~~~Someone wanna talk about To Aru Majutsu No Index II?~~~~~~~~~~
(if you haven't seen To Aru Majutsu No Index II this will not make sense because everything I'm about to say has to do with the show)
Okay there's four things
1. So the movie comes out in a month so I'm sooooo excited! Is anyone else?
2. Season three should be coming around fall 2013 so I'm FREAKING EXCITED for that! My sources better not be lying .....anyway, what do you thinks gonna happen? Predictions anyone?
3. Accelerator and Last Order are my favorite characters and they're the favorite to a lot of others as well and since Misaka got her own side show there might be a side show for Accelerator and Last Order. Do you think that's just a rumor 'cause there hasn't been anything offical posted (well that I know of)?
4. What kind of relationship do you think Accelerator and Last order have/will turn into? Please be appropriate
