Little Inferno

This game is just amazing. Period. It's also somewhat hard to describe, but I'll try my best.

So, you are... well, you don't really know until the end of the game. It's been snowing for as long as anybody can remember, so you must burn all your things in your Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace to stay warm. You burn stuff to get coins, buy stuff from the game's catalog, then burn those for more coins. There's also combos where you have to burn two or three specific things together. For example, for the Bike Pirate combo, you must burn a bike and a pirate. As you buy more stuff and unlock combos, you will eventually get more catalogs, from "Totally Recalled Toys" (featuring a mini nuke and a Kitty Kitty Poo Poo Plush) to "First Person Shopper" (with Tetrominoes that disappear when you put them in rows). And then there's a story to it, with some dark humor and a really cool ending. The game is on Steam and the Wii U eShop (I believe it's on sale there for 10 dollars instead of the normal price of $14.99)

Here's the website.

Discuss.

I bet I'm going to be the only one who has ever played the game

A lot of people have, it's a very dead ended game and the cooldown on receiving items doesn't fit the game at all.

Re: Little Inferno

This is funny, because I just finished watching a Let's Play of this game done really well, and you can find it here if you'd like to see it yourself. Overall, it looks awesome to me, although I wouldn't pay 15 bucks for it. MAYBE 8 dollars, if that...

Re: Little Inferno

I thought this game was amazing. I didn't play it until recently but now I understand why so many people love it. Its story and art are amazing and the burning mechanics is great. The respawn on items doesn't bother me so much because it really helps me slow down and relax., which I usually don't do in games. Also, the price is no longer an issue as it is now $10. BUY THIS GAME.

Agreed. There's also an iPad version that has all the same content and costs less, if anyone's interested!

The game really isn't so much about the gameplay as it is an experience.

It kinda does, but the video is pretty much the entire game (except for the story, which makes it worth the price)
