Panther I/O help. URGENT
Okay, so I'm trying to use Panther to I/O some files. All good? No.
I have a file (output.txt). I have tried placing this file in the Panther folder, in the project's folder, on the fs root (C:\) and no prevail. I have even tried using Panther2Exe and seeing if that makes any difference.
I have tried both relative and absolute naming conventions ("C:\User\foo\bar\output.txt" and "output.txt" and ".\output.txt"). I have also tried all of the above with forward-slash not backslash.
Operating Systems I have used:
Ubuntu with Wine
Windows 8
Windows 7
Windows XP
NOTE: Reading from a webpage does work, but I need to output and without a web connection.
This project needs to be done QUICKLY. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried running Panther as an administrator account?

Yeah, fraid so... There must be something I'm doing wrong, I just can't see it...
I've also tried downloading the panther "data.txt" tutorial, and that won't return any data either.
Because, as I said, I need this done quick, I've started using pygame on python (I have no experience with this lib). However any help here would be appreciated because I'd nearly finished in panther I just need to output data. Thanks in advance!
