Paranormal Thread

Discuss anything related to the paranormal. Ghosts, psychic visions, angels, demons, tarot   and all the rest.

(I'm posting this in Things I’m Reading and Playing because it was the most appropriate section)

Re: Paranormal Thread

It was actually yesterday when this happened (it's kind of funny but it was pretty disturbing at the time) I was spending the night at my friend's house, but first we had to go to her gram's house, because that's where the bus dropped her off. In the basement was this Santa hat that talked and sang, and it was on top of a radio. My friend put it on and then after she was done with it she threw it on the ground by a bookshelf, and then we sat on the couch to watch TV.

After we decided we were done, we were going to go upstairs and we looked and the hat was ON THE RADIO. Also when my friend's cousin came home, she went downstairs to practice her piano while we were upstairs doing our homework.  She then later came up and said that she looked at the radio while playing and the hat was not there, or anywhere in the basement. So we went downstairs to look, and the hat was on the edge of the computer.

Also, I know that she didn't put it there, because I heard her playing down there the entire time, and the only time she stopped was when she was running up the stairs.

Re: Paranormal Thread

When I was young, me and my friends were playing on my trusty Gamecube (stably placed on a shelf). We went downstairs for a snack, but when we came back up, the Gamecube was on the floor. Other than us, the only people in the house were my parents - who were cooking. Anyone know how this may have happened?

Re: Paranormal Thread

If you like paranormal stuff, I recommend reading the "Weird U.S." series. There are a bunch of local legends, well-known ghosts, and anything else that is weird or unconventional. There is a book for most of the U.S. states.

I imagine that is probably in there. I haven't seen a book for New Jersey yet.

From what I have seen at my library, there is a:

*Weird Carolinas.
*Weird Florida.
*Weird Virginia.
*Weird Missouri.
*Weird Pennsylvania.
*Weird New York.
*Weird U.S.

I am pretty sure there are more, but I haven't looked. They are pretty good books (about 220 pages long) with good illustrations and writing.
