Default Sprite Selected When Project Opens

Hello,

I teach an IT course and am distributing a scratch project to my students which they must modify.  I would like to be able to control which sprite/script is selected and displayed by default when they first open the project (.sb file).  Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

Re: Default Sprite Selected When Project Opens

This is from the readme file in Scratch's folder:

Customizing the default sprite

You can replace the default cat sprite with a sprite of your own. Your default sprite can include multiple costumes, sounds, and even scripts. To set this up, just create your sprite and export it. (To export, right-click on the sprite and choose "export this sprite."). Then rename it "default.sprite" and place it in the Costumes folder.

Re: Default Sprite Selected When Project Opens

Or if you mean the default sprite/script selected instead of sprite, the last sprite you were looking at before you saved the project would be the sprite shown when the project is opened, I think.
