Maybe the characters could start bleeding, stop and think about their actions and cry?

But....

Turns out it was all inspired by a recent horrific event where he saw a epileptic man having a seizure, and shortly having to be killed by a man stuffing his face with a pillow, his body slowly going to a lifeless corpse.
