Hi,
I'm sparky2008123, head of Operation P.S.
Operation P.S is a group dedicated to ending boring, useless, and fun consuming projects like cat coloring contests, cat art, warrior cat pictures. I know many of you may be annoyed by the way scratch is losing its original fun to this overwhelming projects. Cat games are ok every once in a while but coloring contests?
Every time I scroll along the front page looking for a good animation or fun game I find them. Annoying cat projects that take up the What the Community is Viewing (bar? I can't think of the word right now) and the Featured Projects. This causes good projects that deserve to be placed in the Featured Project space to be tossed aside.
If you just find one scratcher who makes these projects and go to their list of friends you are bound to find an endless list of cat 'artists' and contest leaders.
The scratch cat I can understand being in a lot of projects, he's the scratch logo, but all of these others are unacceptable when they take great projects' chances at fame.
As I have stated before, Operation P.S [Protect Scratch] will not rest until these cat projects are lessened. We do not aim to end them completely but we wish for other scratchers to have a well-earned chance at the Featured Projects list.
Operation P.S is also bent on ending the server clogging problem posed by inappropriate tags. If you see a project with tags that have absolutely nothing to do with the project, flag the tags!
So, how will we do these things you ask? Well the tags are easy, but the cat projects will take some questions for the scratchers making these like why they enjoy them and if they realize that these creations keep others from the Featured page. It will also take a stand from scratchers, making projects that explain the problems caused by these projects.
Once you have explained these things you should get a Scratch Team member to view your project.
I do not wish to become an enemy of the cat 'artists' and contest holders, all I wish is for scratch to be a better place for all. Scratch is for fun, yes, but sometimes scratchers go too far.

EDIT: Actually, I've had a change of heart, I will leave this here so others may be inspired but entering the contests now and then is fine, as long as they don't overrun scratch completely.
But stop the tags! Spam tags are terrible! I fully support the end of spam tags!
So here the short term of Operation P.S has ended and I hereby close this topic.
If others wish to resurrect Operation Protect Scratch please inform me in a comment on one of my projects. I may have decided to join it once more. Until then, farewell Operation P.S...
