Bob was a turkey. He liked to eat chips. One day, however, Bob ate too many chips. This caused him to explode. That was sad, as it left the poor farmer, who had been fattening him up all year for Christmas, without a turkey for Christmas dinner ):

A 48 word mini x-mas story i wrote while trying to actually think of something for the 500 word story for the competition DX

By the way , as a way of judging, we could get whichever member has the most veiwers to post a project with all of the stories on and have a little voting system.

Christmas WARRIORS STYLE!

Dovewing padded into the leaf-bare cold clearing. A robin was pecking at the ground, obviously trying to find food to hold herself over through the harsh leaf-bare. Even the birds are finding it hard... she thought, sighing sadly. "Why must StarClan punish us so soon after the Dark Forest?" she said aloud. The robin tweeted in alarm and flew off. "StarClan, please let that mother robin find food for her unborn young." she prayed.
"Dovewing, what are you doing? In case you haven't noticed, the clan is starving." Dustpelt snapped. The rest of the patrol, Lionblaze and Leafpool, flooded into the clearing. "You could've caught that robin!"
"Dustpelt, back off. Dovewing was too young to see what happened in the battle." Leafpool growled. Dustpelt snarled and backed away.
"What are you going to do, birth another murderer?" Dustpelt threw himself at Leafpool, easily throwing the former medicine cat down. Leafpool yowled in shock. Dovewing launched herself onto Dustpelt, wrenching him off.
"Stop! Jayfeather has enough work without fights in the clan!" Lionblaze yowled. Dustpelt blinked in surprise at the younger warrior's tone.
"Lionblaze, you're right. As a former medicine cat, I know how hard leaf-bare can be. Dustpelt, quit being a jerk face." Leafpool meowed calmly.
A Twoleg noise caught Dovewing's attention. "What's that noise?" she questioned. The other warriors tilted their heads and listened carefully.
"I hear it too!" Lionblaze bounded off through the woods. Dovewing raced after him. The rest of the patrol ran after them.
Soon they came to a clearing with Twolegs in it. They were holding shiny, whirring things and cutting down fir trees. "What are they doing?" Dustpelt whispered. Everyone ignored him.
The Twolegs cut down several trees, then went away. The patrol raced back to camp.
"Bramblestar!" Dovewing yowled. The tabby tom padded out from the medicine den.
"What, Dovewing?" he asked. The patrol reported what the Twolegs had been doing. Bramblestar nodded. "Firestar told me about this. The Twolegs call it 'Christmas'. They cut down pine trees and bring them into their dens, putting small colored stars on strings on the trees. They give each other 'presents'."

A short poem: Ode to Christmas

I like christmas, it is fun
enjoy it now before it's done
a time of stuffing your face with sweets
and to puzzle over "mince pies", they don't contain meat
Shiny wrapping paper all over the floor
And lots of little sweets which i just adore
Inside strings of fairy lights cast a magical glow
while outside, if you're lucky, you might just have snow!
So now you can see, why christmas to me
is the best time of year there ever could be!

This time last year, they said august, then after the summer holidays, they said christmas. Now they're saying beta test release for January. Sigh. sad
