I actually never liked Earthbound too much.
Though everyone knows the greatest SNES game (and RPG in general) of all time is Chrono Trigger.

You are also breaking the law! Non licensed emulation of commercial games is illegal.

I agree with both your points here, though Chrono Trigger might not be the best (but definitely one of them!)
I also really like Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Harvest Moon, and the Lufia series.

Technically, they didn't say they were emulating any games... having an emulator is okay.

You said that SNES was the greatest console of all-time, but you also said the Genesis was just as good.
Also, emulation is illegal, but I would argue it isn't morally wrong if the game is out of print. For example, I play Conker's Bad Fur Day on an emulator. All versions of the game are out of print, so I'm not cheating any developer or publisher out of any money. I feel the same about pirating out of print albums.
EDIT: Also, Super Metroid is the greatest SNES game. A Link to the Past in a close second.

The big three of RPGs on Super Nintendo are Final Fantasy III (actually VI), Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger.
Also, sort of off topic, have you played Phantasy Star II on Genesis? Also an amazing game.

Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI are fantastic. Two of the greatest, not only RPG's, but games of all-time.
Secret of Mana... let's just say I find it quite overrated from what I've played.

Just to be clear the Nintendo system generations are:
1st: NES/Game and Watch
2nd: SNES/ Game Boy
3rd: N64/ Game Boy Color
4th: GameCube/ GBA
5th: Wii/DS
6th: Wii U/3DS
Right?

I wish I could form an opinion of my own of Earthbound, because I either hear people LOVE it or they don't really care much for it. I will agree though, Chrono Trigger is fantastic.

Almost, I wouldn't consider Game and Watch to be on par with NES as it came out about 5 years before.
Also, to answer your question from my earlier SNES thread, I currently have Street Fighter II Turbo.

I don't have an opinion either.
If they'd only make a new Earthbound/Mother, I might be able to snatch one up and try it out for myself.
HotCocoa28: I assumed that G&W came out earlier. I just realized when I put NES with Game Boy, things didn't add up.

Yes, I was actually going to say you should but GB with NES, but after I looked up its' release date, I have to agree with you.
