Hehe, I used to have a sea life junior monopoly thing!! 8D I vaguely remember that the die was glow in the dark, hahah. XD
When we play, we always try to get the dark blue properties first (of course, since they're always raking in the big cash XD) and we get very competitive. It gets violent. (JUST KIDDING )Dark blue properties suck since there's only two of them
Oranges make the most profits when you take into account what you paid for them but greens get you the most money in the long term
It's sad how much time I've spent looking up monopoly tacticsThe dark blue suck? Heck no! Yeah there's only two of them but if someone lands on it, you make almost twise as much as everyone else! In my family if someone has a dark blue property then you're screwed. But yeah oranges and green tend to be one of the better ones...
Yep, they do
There's like five other colours I'd rather have over dark blue

I'm not the biggest fan of Monopoly because there's too much complicated stuff. Ever since I played Fluxx I can't play any game with more than a page of rules unless it's really worth it.
I see why some people like it though. Just sitting around for two hours with an excuse to chat with family sounds appealing to some, just I almost never play board games with my parents because they're busy.

If you don't play monopoly properly than it is just an excuse to have family time but if you know how to play monopoly down pat than it's really fun, not an excuse, and it's like any other game. Yes there is a lot of complicated stuff, but like everything, after a while you get to know it and it's super easy! I even played it when I was five. If I could do it at age five then anyone who's willing to give it a chance can do it too I probably just sounded really lame but oh well

I'm sorry but I still don't see how you think that...So you would rather have pink than a dark blue? You have to add it up, two dark blue is higher than three pink or three red or three light blue or three whatever. Just having two dark blue's gets you either $70 or $100 each time someone land on it. All the other colors range from $8-$52 if you have the complete set. And if you land on the dark blue with a house or hotel on it, you owe $1,000-$2,000! The other colors don't get that high...

I love the game, and I win most of the time
The hardest part is finding people to play with

So does my family! We use the same pieces every time! Even if it doesn't match the game! My brothers is the hand, my dads is the laptop, and mine is the bag of fries

dark blues cost a lot of money:
1: to own
2: to make houses/hotels
I'd do what you would do RedRocker.

After about 45 minutes of play, whoever has the dark blue monopoly should have hotels because that ends up being the only significantly crippling monopoly on the board.

Yeah but you need to think about investment. Yes it costs a lot of money to own and build but once someone lands on it you get all of that money back and more! Have you ever heard the saying "you have to spend money to make money" that's exactly what this is about. If someone lands on dark blue you pretty much get all their money, thus getting the money you payed for at first.
