Ummm... That's a really hard question to answer, and I unfortunately don't know what rounders is. These are the very basics (there is a lot more to baseball like bunting, squeeze plays, stealing, pinch hitting, etc.): There are nine positions on defense; Pitcher, Catcher, 1st baseman, 2nd baseman, shortstop, 3rd baseman, left fielder, center fielder, and right fielder. There are three bases on the field, plus home plate. You can google an image for what a baseball diamond looks like. On offense, there is the batter and base runners. To start the game, the pitcher pitches the ball to the batter, who stands at home plate. The batter has a bat. He can swing or not swing. If he swing and misses, its strike. If he does;t swing and it is not in the strike zone, its a ball. If he doesn't swing and its in the strike zone, then its a strike. If you get three strikes, its an out. If you get four balls its a walk, and the batter gets to advance to first base. If he hits the ball, he gets to run the bases. But, you can't just run around all the bases at once, or you'll  probably get tagged out. You get three outs per inning, and there are 9 innings. To get a run (which is a point) you have to touch home plate. I have barely scratched the surface of what baseball is, but it is a very fun game and my favorite sport.

o..k, I'll try and explain rounders...

             3
    4       B       2
  5                    1
            b
B=bowler
b=batter
[1-5] bases
In rounders you have 5 wooden posts(bases), on each of these a member of the fielding team stands. The bowler throws the ball at the batter who either hits it or decides not to. If they hit the ball they can run as far round the bases as they can, starting with first base. The Fielding team then has to hit a base with the ball, if the batter is running between bases 2 and 3 for example, the fielder would try and hit base 3(the base the batter is running to). If they hit the base the batter is out. If they make it all the way round(to base 5) in one go they score a rounder. if they make it all the way round in more than one ball then they score a half-rounder. If the ball is caught the batter is out. If the batter doesn't hit the ball they can only go to base 1. When the next batter hits/doesn't hit the ball the same thing happens, but the batters ahead of them also run round the bases. if the batter runs to a base that a previous batter is still on then they're out.

That's pretty much it...
